The Company is dedicated to reducing waste and minimizing resource loss through systematic waste segregation and recycling, the use of environmentally friendly materials, and efficient resource management. JAS Asset applies the principles of the Circular Economy and the Zero Waste to Landfill initiative in its operations to ensure that shopping centers and surrounding communities enjoy a clean, safe, and healthy environment.

Beyond operational efficiency, the Company also prioritizes cultivating environmental awareness among employees, tenants, and all stakeholders. It implements communication campaigns and educational activities on waste reduction, segregation, and recycling to achieve tangible results, encourage sustainable behavior, and extend positive impacts throughout the wider community.

Management Approach and Value Creation

JAS Asset Public Company Limited focuses on systematic and efficient waste and resource management to reduce environmental impacts and enhance resource efficiency. These efforts are integrated within the framework of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) operations to create sustainable outcomes for the organization, communities, and the environment.

The Company is committed to driving positive change by promoting waste reduction at the source, proper waste segregation, and the reuse of resources through recycling and upcycling processes. These initiatives aim to increase value, minimize losses, and mitigate potential impacts on the environment and surrounding communities. The Company implements the following approaches to waste and resource management

Waste Reduction at the Source
JAS Asset places great importance on reducing waste from the very beginning of its operations by promoting the mindful and efficient use of resources. The Company continuously improves its work processes and daily practices by encouraging the appropriate use of necessary materials and equipment. In addition, JAS Asset conducts awareness campaigns and provides education to employees, tenants, and customers on minimizing the use of disposable items such as reducing single-use plastics and promoting the use of reusable packaging.
Waste Segregation and Landfill Reduction
JAS Asset promotes systematic waste segregation by providing separate waste bins within office buildings and shopping centers, encouraging employees to actively participate in proper waste management.
In addition, JAS Asset utilizes the Climate Care Platform of the Stock Exchange of Thailand to record waste weight, enabling the Company to monitor daily waste generation, analyze trends, and identify effective strategies to reduce landfill waste.
Strengthening Collaboration with Partners and Government Agencies
Effective waste management requires collaboration across all sectors. JAS Asset has therefore partnered with various stakeholders and government agencies through the implementation of projects that support sustainable waste management.
The Company has also participated in the Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS) of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) and is a member of the “Care the Whale” network in collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, promoting sustainable waste management alongside the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from waste management processes.
