Keep Smile Together: JAS Green Village and the Department of Forestry Distribute Tree Saplings to Mall Customers

09 January 2026

JAS Green Village, in collaboration with the Department of Forestry, organized an activity to promote environmental conservation and sustainable use of natural resources under the concept “Plant Trees, Expand Green Spaces, Create a Better World.” Over 2,000 tree saplings of five species: Thong Urai, Thong NopaKao, Tabaek, Ratchaphruek, and Tamarind were distributed to customers visiting the community mall.

Participation was simple: customers who brought a reusable cloth bag instead of using plastic bags received a tree sapling as a special gift. This initiative encourages the reduction of plastic use and promotes tree planting within the community. In addition to decreasing plastic waste, it helps expand urban green spaces and fosters a healthier and more sustainable environment.

Using cloth bags instead of plastic also helps conserve natural resources and reduces environmental impacts associated with the production of plastic, which takes a long time to decompose.

This activity reflects JAS Green Village’s commitment to driving a greener society, raising environmental awareness among mall customers, and encouraging everyone to conserve the planet and use resources responsibly creating a better world for future generations.
